The other day, my Geography teacher set us some homework:
I quite like Geography as a school subject, so when I got around to doing the homework, I was truly fascinating by what I found out! Here are just some of the many statistics that I found out, many of which are just so astonishing: 61 villagers would be Asian 14 villagers would be American
13 villagers would be African 12 villagers would be European 1 villager would be Oceanic 33 villagers would be Christian 19 villagers would be Muslim 13 villagers would be Hindu 6 villagers would be Buddhist 5 villagers would believe that there were spirits in all natures 24 villagers would be atheists or other religions 17 villagers would speak Chinese 9 villagers would speak English 8 villagers would speak Hindi 6 villagers would speak Russian 6 villagers would speak Spanish 50 villagers would speak other languages 52 villagers would be female 48 villagers would be male 99 villagers wouldn't have a college education 1 villager would have a college education 83 villagers would have access to safe, clean water 17 villagers wouldn't have access to safe, clean water 68 villagers would breathe clean air 32 villagers would breathe polluted air 50 villagers wouldn't have a reliable source of food 30 villagers would always have enough to eat 20 villagers would be undernourished 15 villagers would be overweight 1 villager would be dying of starvation 90 villagers would be heterosexual 10 villagers would be homosexual 2 villagers would be born (per year) 1 villager would die (per year)
86 villagers would be able to read 14 villagers wouldn't be able to read 76 villagers would have electricity 24 villagers wouldn't have electricity 93 villagers wouldn't have computers 7 villagers would have computers 66 villagers would be aged between 15-64 26 villagers would be aged between 0-14 8 villagers would be aged 65 or over 70 villagers would be non-white 30 villagers would be white 75 villagers would have food and shelter 25 villagers wouldn't have food and shelter But even though these statistics are dramatically adverse, all 7 billion of us on Earth are humans, and therefore we should all have equal opportunities...
"Happy I got my son with me for the 4th tomorrow!!" the tweet read. "Can't wait to watch fireworks with my little man! Hope everyone is safe!"- tweeted Rob Kardashian yesterday. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
Turns out it was only a prank :( Fans were confused and went mad posting in the comments, but just a few hours later, Rob revealed it to be a prank...
But, it's not the first time Rob has been thought to have a son!
A teddy bear was once seen on his bed and he claimed that it was for his son.
Other tweets he has posted before have also hinted he could have a son.
But whenever the possibility of Rob having a son comes up, his mother Kris quickly changes the subject- could it be that if people knew that Rob was a father she is scared it would ruin the Kardashian name?
A while back it was also thought that Rob was moving to Florida, to be near his son...
Well, my verdict on this is that if Rob does indeed have a son, its perhaps a good idea that the little one is kept out of the KUWTK limelight!
So, North West, one of the most high-profile celebrity babies of 2013, recently celebrated her first birthday... Of course, being Kim Kardashian West's daughter, she was bound to have an overboard party; it turned out to be a mini festival, cutely named Kidchella, in Kourtney and Scott Disick's backyard! The party included a Ferris wheel, teepees, bouncy castles, music stages, food and craft stalls and more! Entertainment included North's aunties Kendall Jenner (18) and Kylie Jenner (16) singing along to Kanye and Rihanna songs, along with friends Moses Arias (20- you might remember him from Hannah Montana; he played Rico) and Jaden Smith (15).
Baby North looked gorgeous in an adorable fringed top and a cute flower headband, whilst her mum, Kim, was stunning in a white an silver-jeweled dress.
Nori's cake was rainbow-dyed and looked amazing, decorated with daisies!
Meanwhile, Auntie Khloe was also there, hanging out with her "bestie" Zeplin. Don't you agree that this pic is just soooo adorable?!
Tie-dyed tops, cowgirl-style clothes and a wild west atmosphere create the perfect festival- lucky Nori, huh? You've given me inspiration for my next party now, North! :D
In a recent interview with Seth Meyers, Demi Lovato exclaimed to the world that she was an avid believer in aliens and mermaids! Demi first explains her alien beliefs by asking "How self-centered would we be, as humans, to believe that we are the only living things in the universe?"
Demi is a huge fan of conspiracy theories, as she said so herself in the interview. Her favourite one is that mermaids really do exist! She believes that the species live in an underwater city, like in the film Atlantis, in an undiscovered part of the Indian Ocean. Christopher Columbus apparently saw mermaids on his way to discovering America, so maybe Demi has a point there! She says she saw an intriguing documentary on mermaids, and Seth Meyers, the interview host, teasingly asked Demi if it was the Little Mermaid! Unfortunately, the documentary was later discovered to be fake :( Well, I believe in mermaids too, Demi!
Here's what Demi herself would look like as a mermaid! <3
Demi later goes on to say that mermaids don't look like the mermaids you see in books, as they are an alien species, after all! She also says that although she doesn't believe in Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster, she thinks that maybe the moon landing was fake, but she hasn't researched that yet :)
Oh, and not forgetting Demi's NEW hair colour (yet again!)... Brown, then purple, then silver! I love it! She kept in under wraps until the interview, literally!:
In case you haven't guessed, yes, I am a Lovatic, so expect more posts about Demi in the future! Bye for now! :D
So, you've probably heard that Kimye got married yesterday? No? Well, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, whose names have been amalgamated together to create the ship name "Kimye", tied the knot in a secluded ceremony in Florence, Italy with only close family and friends in attendance. The wedding costed around $11million in total; the spectacular banquet was Italian-themed and must have cost in itself! The amazing wedding cake, made by Galeto was a 7-tier and 7-feet tall fruit cake!
So far, this is the only picture of the extravagant cake! Kimberly wore more than one dress during the events, but her main one was a lace Givenchy gown, which stunned the audience. It was long-sleeved with a cut-out back, and is one-of-a-kind. It was a bespoke version of the one below:
Gorgeous, huh? Baby North West wore a custom gown that matched her mother's, whilst Kanye wore a custom tuxedo, also made by Givenchy. Kim's bridesmaids, which included both the Jenner sisters and the Kardashian sisters, wore stunning white gowns, made by YolanCris. Kimberly wore her hair down for the ceremony, but had a Givenchy veil over it.

The wedding took place in front of a giant flower wall, with Andrea Bocelli performing Con te PartirĂ³ as Bruce Jenner, Kim's step-dad, walked her down the aisle.
Kim's wedding ring is a diamond band made by Lorraine Schwartz, which is gorgeous but it isn't quite as spectacular as her engagement ring, which includes a 15-carat square diamond! Kanye's wedding ring complemented Kim's perfectly, being a gold band also made by Lorraine Schwartz, who is a jewelry designer and also a close friend of Kim's mother; Kris Jenner.
The engagement ring <3
It was said that Kanye was very anxious during the vows, as he was trying to memorise about 5 pages of vows that he had written over a year before! The couple's first dance was rumored to be a mash-up of Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine" and Etta James' "At Last". Kimye then enjoyed a luxurious honeymoon at the Castlemartyr Resort in Ireland, which costed them in excess of $70,000 for a 4-day stay!
The gorgeous honeymoon resort <3
(I do not own any of these pictures, all right to the owners) Thanks for reading! <3 There's a new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians on June 8th, on E!
Hey! This is my blog and this post is all about... My favourite Disney songs! 20) You'll Be In My Heart- Tarzan
This song is so emotional and cute- I just love it! It definitely gives out a positive message about loving your family and although it may seem soppy it is an inspirational song :) 19) Reflection- Mulan
Awww, Disney is great at having inspirational morals in their films and this song is all about just being yourself and standing up for what you think is right, so that is why I love this song <3 18) Beauty And The Beast- Beauty And The Beast
This pop ballad describes the relationship between the two protagonists of the film. Sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, it is a classic love song, almost like a haunting lullaby! Love it <3
17) Under The Sea- The Little Mermaid
I love this song + Sebastian's accent! I once got really quite annoyed when some Year 7's at my school did a performance of it without the Jamaican accent! It's just so happy and cheerful but at the same time there is an underlying message about appreciating what you have in life, which is what makes it so memorable. 16) Be Our Guest- Beauty And The Beast
It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure... that I love this song! Influenced by the genres of French Music and Musical Theatre, which I love, it does have a kind of cheese-factor about it, but it's just one of those songs that everyone can enjoy! 15) I Just Can't Wait To Be King- The Lion King
This lively tune is one that's bound to get stuck in your head! The contrast between Nala and Simba, the playful, childish lion cubs, and Zazu, the nosy, bossy hornbill makes the song comedic and its jazzy influences make it hard to forget! 14) Humuhumunukunukuapua'a- High School Musical 2
Betcha didn't know that Humuhumunukunukuapua'a is actually a type of Hawaiian fish called the Reef Triggerfish! The teen-pop hit was sung by Ashley Tisdale as Sharpay Evans, and tells the story of a girl, her prince and her fish, named Humuhumunukunukuapua'a! :) 13) Colors Of The Wind- Pocahontas
The pop/r&b tune that is so well known to this generation has its roots in Native American culture and is all about not taking things for granted; appreciating nature and not abusing nature's powers. Overall it is a great, moving song that will live forever <3 12) Love Is An Open Door- Frozen
SPOILER ALERT! This goofy love song is sung by Anna and Hans, during Elsa's Coronation Day, shows how in love (but also naive) Anna is, because although they seem made for each other, Hans is hiding a secret that could ruin Anna's life. This song shows how willing Hans is to get what he wants, which is great as it links it to the main plot brilliantly! 11) Breaking Free- High School Musical
This is one of the songs at the climax at the film, which means it is widely known and is a cute duet to perform. I remember we performed it in a school play in Year 4, when everyone was still hyped up about the then still relatively-new film! It also has a great moral about being individual :) 10) It's A Small World- Fantasyland
Ok, so I know not many people are fans of this song- my family all think it is very annoying! But, contrary to what they think, I love this- it's so happy-go-lucky and promotes world peace :) 9) Circle Of Life- The Lion King
Did you know that the first bit of this song, sung in Swahili, translates into English as: "There comes a lion Oh yes, it's a lion There comes a lion Oh yes, it's a lion We're going to conquer It's a lion and a tiger" Such an uplifting song about life! 8) Can You Feel The Love Tonight?- The Lion King
This song is a perfect example of how song can express love better than words can. It's so cute and has to be one of my favourite love songs!
From this:
To this:
7) Do You Want to Build a Snowman?- Frozen
Awww I love this song, because Anna is so caring about her sister and really misses her- it definitely shows a true sisterly bond between Anna and Elsa!
6) Go The Distance- Hercules
This song is very powerful and emotive, as it is all about Hercules finding out who he truly is. We performed this in choir at Primary School, and the lyrics have a strong meaning behind them, one of standing out and finding where you belong.
5) When She Loved Me- Toy Story
I love this, as it is true, how people grow up and move on from their childhood, but it is never truly forgotten.
Have you heard of the theory between Andy's mum and Jessie's owner?:
4) For The First Time In Forever (and reprise)- Frozen
This really is a good song! The original is a perfect mix of Anna's (Kristen Bell) energetic spirit and Elsa's (Idina Menzel) fearful pessimism, whilst the reprise shows how much the sisters have changed throughout the film.
3) Part Of Your World- The Little Mermaid
Despite the fact that the song never actually says the words "part of your world"- it always says "part of that world", it is a fab song! It's about Ariel breaking the traditions and beginning to find herself.
2) Let It Go (Both versions)- Frozen
I love the film Frozen, especially the amazing songs, as you may have already realised! This version of Let It Go, sung by Idina Menzel, is great for the film as it is a better way to describe the part of the film than having to have a long monologue.
The original version of the song was sung by Demi Lovato, and, although I love both versions of the song, this one is my favourite! I am a huge Lovatic and this song describes Demi's struggles and so is emotional and many people can relate to it <3
Finally, the moment you have been waiting for...
1) So Far So Great- Sonny With A Chance
I know its not a classic Disney song, but...
This is the theme song to one of my all-time favourite tv shows, which was on Disney Channel between 2009-2011, starring Demi Lovato <3 This is a great song, because it is very catchy and is about living life to the fullest :) I was very sad for Sonny With A Chance to end, but I still love this song and I still watch old episodes of SWAC xxx
